    Am I eligible for CTET Exam after completing BCA and now pursuing B.Ed course? Are there any vacancies for Computer Professionals in KVS and Navodhaya Vidyalayas?

    I have completed B.C.A.
    Am I eligible for CTET.
    I am doing B.Ed.
    is there vacancies for computer professionals in KVS and Navodaya vidyalayas??

    Yes you are Eligible For CTET , For Vacancies you have to look , on your own .

    CTET examination is conducted every year by the Central broad of the Education.The examination is conducted for recruiting teacher for students from I to VIII. .The CTET is conducted once a year.

    Eligibility for the examination ::

    For class I to V::

    The interested candidates must have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .

    Final year students of their diploma can also apply for the examination .

    For class VI to VIII:

    The interested candidates must have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks

    Pattern of the examination ::There will be two papers of CTET.

    Paper I : Only for those students who are applying for classes I to V.


    Paper II: Only for those students who are applying for classes VI to VIII.


    Students interested in teaching for both level have to appear for the both papers.

    The CTET scores valid for seven years

    You can apply for the exam as many times as you want to there is no limitation in number of attempts

    Qualification Criteria for Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    The qualification criterion is different for Class I – V and Class I – VIII teachers.

    Class I – V:

    Aspirants should have passed the intermediate course in any of the streams from a recognized Board.

    Additionally, they should have done Diploma or graduation course in Elementary Education.

    The percentage requirement in the 10+2 course is 50% for B Ed candidates and 45% for B Ed aspirants.

    Class I – VIII:

    The educational qualification required to attend the test is a pass in the Bachelors’ degree program in Arts or Science disciplines with 50%.

    In addition, they should have done the graduation program in Education, which is recognized by the recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.


    Structure and Pattern of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    Separate tests like Paper I and Paper II are conducted for Class I – IV and Class VI – VIII teachers.

    Both the tests are of objective type, which lasts for 1.30 hours.

    The test comprises of questions on Environmental Studies, Child growth and Pedagogy, Language and Mathematics
    .

    There will not be any negative marking in the test.!!

    Hi dude,

    CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    CTET exam is conducted by CBSE for recruting teachers for students from1 to 8th .

    These exam is conducted Once every year.

    For 1st to 5th :-

    You need to have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .

    You can also apply if your in the final year of Diploma course.

    For 6th to 8th:-

    You need to have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks.

    The exam consists of 2 papers.

    First paper for class 1st to 5th and second for class 6th to 8th.

    The exam is of 150 marks.

    If you are interested in teaching for both the batchs then you need to appear for both the exams.

    There is no age limit for this exam .

    So you can apply at any age.

    Application forms will be available from November.

    Last date of applying will be last of November.

    Last date of applying through post is 30th of November.

    Exam will be conducted in the month of Janurary mostly in the last week .

    ELIGIBILITY:

    Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:

    >>>Senior Secondary class 12 with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education

    >>>Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education

    CTET- Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test

    It is a basic eligibility exam for any of the government and public schools.

    >>The test is conducted by Central government of India.

    >>This test was introduced by the government in the year 2011 to improve the standards of teaching.

    >>Teachers who are already working should clear this test within two years.

    >>Graduates in all fields like B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, etc are eligible to write the test.

    >>If you are a B.Ed student you pass pass this test.

    >>The minimum pass marks required is 60%.

    Eligibility Criteria for CTET:

    The basic eligibility criterion is different for upper primary and lower primary teaching.

    Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V :

    You should posses any of the following educational qualification

    *Higher secondary with a pass percentage of 50% and a 2 year course in Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year exam)

    *Higher secondary with a pass percentage of 45% and a 2 year course in Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year exam) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002

    The minimum qualification for the exam for you applying for classes VI –VIII is:

    *B.A./B.Sc/B.Com and a 2 year course in Diploma in Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year exam)

    *Higher secondary with a pass percentage of 50% and a 4 year course in Bachelor of Elementary Education (passed or appearing in final year exam)

    *B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with at least 50% marks and a 1 year course in Bachelor in Education (passed or appearing in final year exam)

    *B.A./B.Sc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a 1 year course in Bachelor in Education (passed or appearing in final year exam).

    *It should be in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations

    *Higher secondary with a pass percentage of 50% and a 4 year course in BA/B.Sc. (Ed) or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) (passed or appearing in final year exam)

    *Diploma and degree courses in teaching must be approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). But for Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education) courses recognition by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) will be only considered.
