    Am I eligible for CLAT for Law course after completing my graduation from Kanpur University?

    respcted sir i have completed my graduction from kanpur university, now i wanna to do llb. Am i eligebil for clat.

    CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission in UG & PG programmes within 11 National Law Universities.

    For admission in UG Courses the minimum criteria are as under:

    One must have to pass 10+2 or its equivalent from any Govt. recognized Institutes/Board/Universities with minimum 50% marks.
    Age should be less then 20 years.

    For PG Courses the minimum criteria are as under:

    One must have passed a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized Institute/University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate
    There is no age limit for applying for post-graduate programme.

    If your qualification is matched with the given criteria then you are eligible for appearing in the CLAT examination.

    It is a very good choice as you wanna go for Law study.
    as you are interested in The Government Law College (GLC) ,Mumbai
    then you can have this great chance.

    The GLC offers the BLS(Bachelor of Legal Science), LLB which are five-year Integrated Law Course leading to a BLS, LLB Degree.

    There is no entrance examination to take admission in Government Law College (GLC),Mumbai.

    But there is a cut-off percentage for admission.

    CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and it is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes LL.B & LL.M.

    To apply for LLB Course you should have obtained 12Th examination or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination. So, if your age should not be more than 20 years then you are eligible to apply for CLAT Examination.

    To apply for LL.M Course you should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate, There is no age restriction to apply for this examination.

    The Notification of this year CLAT Examination was already announced and if you are Interested in CLAT Examination then please fill the application form Soon before Last date.

    Hello friend,

    SURE.

    You are eligible to apply for CLAT after completing your graduation if you have completed 10+2 successfully.

    You can apply only for under graduation courses as you have not taken law courses in your graduation course to take post graduation course in law or related courses.

    For Under graduation

    1.You should have completed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized college
    2.Your age should not be more than 20 years on the date of applying
    3.A relaxation is given for SC/ST and OBC students with 45% aggregate

    For Post graduation courses

    1.You should have completed Bachelors degree in law or any other related courses with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university
    2.Relaxation is provided for SC/ST and OBC students for 45% aggregate
    3.You are allowed to apply if you are awaiting for your final year results

    • Total Marks 200
    • Total number of multiple-choice questions of one mark each 200
