    Am I eligible for CDS Exam if my D.O.B is 15.06.1992? How should i prepare for that? Which books are preferable?

    hello sir,
    my date of birth is15/06/92.
    i want to know the eligibility for cds exam?
    how should i prepared for it ?
    which books are prefable ?

    Hi friend,

    You are eligible for CDS Entrance exam in next year .

    Eligibility criteria for cds

    Age criteria

    IMA - Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd January, 1989 to 1st 1st January, 1994 are eligible.

    Naval Academy- Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd January, 1991 to 1st January, 1994 are eligible.

    Air Force Academy- Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd January, 1990 to 1st January, 1994 are eligible.

    Officers Training Academy Male candidates born between 2nd January, 1988 and to 1st January, 1994 are eligible.

    sir, please tell me if i fail in PABT test for airforce, and if my second choice is army then, will i select for army or not?

    HI,
    Yes you are eligible for CDS exam as your DOB is between 2nd January, 1989 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.




    i) For Indian Military Academy - 2nd January, 1989 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.
    (ii) Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1991
    (iii) For Air Force Academy 2nd January, 1990 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.
    (iv) For Officers' Training Academy- (SSC Course for Men) : Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.
    (v) For Officers Training Academy - not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1994.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC in every year.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDSE exam but 12 standard subject must be Math and Physics.

    B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

    Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

    AGE CRITERIA

    Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
    Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
    Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
    Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years


    MARITAL STATUS


    Only Unmarried persons are eligible

    NATIONALITY


    You must have citizenship from India.
