CDSE - Combined Defense Service Exam

UPSC Conducts CDSE every year for recruiting the candidates through following wings
1.Indian Militar Academy(IMA)
2.Indian Navy
3.Air Force Academy(AFA)
4.Officers Training Academy(OTA)

The CDSE is held 2times in every year
- CDS I
- CDS II

Age eligibility:

# For IMA - You should be Unmarried male and your age should be between 19-24 years.

# For Naval Academy - You should be Unmarried male and your age should be between 19-22 years.

# For Air Force Academy - You should be Unmarried male and your age should be between 19-23 years.

# For Officers Training Academy - Male/ Female candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years.




Educational Eligibility for CDS:

* For Naval Academy : You have to complete your Graduate degree course with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects and your age should between 19 to 22 Years.

* For Air Force Academy : You must have to complete your Graduate degree course with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects and your age should between 19 to 23 Years.

* For OTA (Officers Training Academy) : You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University and your age should between 19 to 25 years.

The Notification of CDS (I) 2012 Notification was already Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already Over. So You cant fill the CDS Application form Online.

So, Please wait for the CDS (II) Examination Notification and then fill the application form Online. But Before fill the Online application form You have to Remit The fees Online by any one of the Modes.

How to Pay the CDS Examination Fees :

The application fees of CDS Examination is Rs 100 and you have to pay the fees through :

* Pay the fees by SBI Debit/Credit Card Online

* Pay the fees through SBI Net Banking

* Or Direct Submit fees in SBI Branches near by your area.

After Pay the fees, You are eligible to fill Online application form of CDS, So, please wait for the Notification and then fill the application form Online.

Second year candidates are not eligible apply to apply for Combined Defence Service Examination . CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II . This examination is organized for admission to Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy and Officer Training Academy .

This year CDS Notification & Last date for receipt of application was already closed and CDS II examination will be held in the month of September . Next CDS Exam notification will be publish soon . The announcement will be come out from in the moth of Oct or November .

Minimum Education Qualification need for this examination is that you have to holding minimum education qualification of graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and Percentage bar is not required for this examination and those who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply .

Eligibility Criteria for IMA / OTA :-

-Student have to passed your degree with desire subject of a reputed Institution .
-Student age should not more than 24 years and not less than 19 years for IMA .
-Student age should not more than 25 years and not less than 19 years for OTA.

-Student have to passed your degree with Physics and Mathematics subjects OR Engineering .
