    Hi friend,

    You are not eligible for CAT Exam while pursuing B.Tech 3rd year in Civil engineering .

    Eligibility for CAT Exam
    • Candidate should have graduate from any recognized university.
    • Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in graduation.
    • Candidate in final year can also apply for CAT Exam.

    So, in final year you will be eligible for CAT Examination.

    Eligibility for CAT is follows:

    1. Candidate should be a Indian

    2.The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and disabled (DA).

    3. Cadidates who are apperaing for final years exam of degree can also apply for CAT.
    Pattern for CAT:

    1.CAT exam is held online.

    2. It contains general ability,aptitude,english,verbal,non-verbal questions.You have to do a lot of practice for that

    1. Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad

    2.Indian Institute of Management Calcutta

    3.Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode

    4.XLRI Management Institute Jamshedpur

    This exam will admission in MBA collede.

    Eligibility :

    1.Bachelors degree with a minim of 50% .

    2.The SC/ST, PWD with 45%.

    3.The final year students are also apply for this exam.

    hello friend,
    You are not eligible for CAT examination while doing B.tech 3rd year in Civil Engineering.

    The eligibility criteria for CAT exam is :

    -You must have completed your Bachelor's degree from a recognizes University.
    -You must have completed your Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks.
    -If you are in the final year of Bachelor degree,then also you can apply for CAT


    So,now you are in the 3 rd year of B.tech,when you will be in the final year of your B.tech the you will be eligible for CAT examination.

    The eligibility for CAT is as follows:
    -Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.
    -Final year student can also appear for the exam.

    So,you are now eligible now.You can apply for it after your graduation.

    sorry to say that you are not eligible. If you want to given the CAT entrance exam then you should first wait for your final year of the Engineering.
    In final year of Engineering you appear in the entrance exam.The CAT stands for the common Entrance test.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR CAT ENTRANCE EXAM :

    You should be an Indian.
    You must have bachelors degree , with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The percentage required for the SC/ST is 45%.
    If you are in final year then you also appear for this test.
    You should complete your graduation from recognized university.

    No you can't Pursue CAT while Pursuing B.tech 3rd Year(Pre final year) in Civil Engineering. You are not eligible for CAT this year ,you will be next year,so be prepared .

    Friend,

    No you are not eligible for CAT exams while you are in the third year of any gradaution degree only the candidates
    who have completed or in the final year of graduation are eligible to appear in the exams.

    So you will be eligible to appear for CAT exams from next year.So my advice to you is that start working from now
    onwards it will really help you.

    THE ELGIBILITY FOR CAT IS:

    1)You must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks ,45% in case of the candidates belonging to

    No, You are Not Eligible To apply for CAT Entrance examination If you are Pursuing your 3rd year B.tech Course, because Only Final year Graduate candidates are eligible to apply for CAT Examination, So when you are Pursuing your 4Th Year Course then you are eligible to apply for CAT Examination.

    >> CAT stands for Common Admission test and This examination was conducted by Indian Institute of Management IIM's every year. The examination was held only 1 times in a year.

    >> The Notification of CAT Examination was Published in the official website in the month of August Every year and the examination was going to be held on November/December.

    The examination fees of CAT was Rs 1600 and you are required to purchase a CAT voucher at selected Axis Bank branches from 17 August – 26 September 2011 and then you can fill the application form of CAT Examination Online.

    CAT Eligibility Criteria

    The candidate who want to sit for cat 2011 exam must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks

    For SC/ST/OBC candidate have score only 45%.

    final student can also apply.

    But as you are in 3rd year of B.tech,you can not apply

    so when you in final year then you are eligible for CAT exam.

    Sorry to say this you are not eligible because
    only graduation final year students can appear for the exam
    But now you have score good marks in this year then
    you can apply in final year of your graduation.

    I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for writing CAT as you donot satisfy for the eligiblity criteria

    eligibility:
    >Must have a bachelors degree from reputed organisation
    >Must be a citizen of India
    >Must have an aggregate of 60%

    Once you are into your fourth year you can write these exam and hence you need not worry
    more over you have certain other exams

    Well dear CAT(common aptitude test) is the mother of all exams which provides
    entry into the most reputed INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT(IIM)
    Other than IIM there are many other top colleges covered under CAT so you have more options to choose from

    BUT BUDDY I AM SORRY TO SAY YOU CANNOT WRITE THE EXAM DUE TO THE FOLLOWING REASONS

    But i am sorry to say that at this point of time you are not eligible to write the exam
    You atleast need to be in your 4th year to be eligible to write

    This year exam date is already OVER.So you can try for next year.

    no You are not eligible for CAT exam in the third year of any degrees gradaution final year are the only candidates eligible
    The complete or final year of graduation are eligible to appear in the examination.

    If you are eligible to appear for examination next year.So the CAT can be my advice to you is that now the work begins
    After it will really help you.

    For CAT ELGIBILITY:

    1) at least 50% points to 45% in the case of candidates with a bachelor's degree must be related to
    Scheduled Caste (SC), (ST) ST and various disability categories (DA)

    2) Candidates Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination can appear for the last year.

    3) no age limit for CAT exam.
