    Am I eligible to become a teacher after scoring 52% in 10th and 42% in 12th?

    respected sir/madam,
    i got 52% in class 10th and 42% in class 12th. am i eligible for any course in teaching?

    HI Friend ,

    No you can't become a teacher after scoring 52% in 10th and 42% in 12th, you have to atleast pass a graduate degree .



    CTET examination is conducted every year by the Central broad of the Education.The examination is conducted for recruiting teacher for students from I to VIII. .The CTET is conducted once a year.

    Eligibility for the examination ::

    For class I to V::

    The interested candidates must have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .

    Final year students of their diploma can also apply for the examination .

    For class VI to VIII:

    The interested candidates must have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks

    Pattern of the examination ::There will be two papers of CTET.

    Paper I : Only for those students who are applying for classes I to V.


    Paper II: Only for those students who are applying for classes VI to VIII.


    Students interested in teaching for both level have to appear for the both papers.

    The CTET scores valid for seven years

    You can apply for the exam as many times as you want to there is no limitation in number of attempts

    CTET 2012 -Important Dates Tentative ::

    Starting date for the submission of online application: 01-11-2011
    Closing date for the submission of online application: 25-11-2011
    Last date for the receipt of application by post: 30-11-2011
    Written test: 29-01-2012
    Paper-I: 10:00am to 11:30am
    Paper-II: 1:00pm to 2:30 pm

    Procedure to apply for the exams::

    To apply online candidate has to log on to the board’s official :[URL="http://www.ctet.nic.in/"][

    To apply offline for the examination then Applications should be sent by Registered/Speed Post on or before the last date of the examination . CTET Applications should be sent in the CBSE office:

    “ the Assistant Secretary (CTET),
    Central Board Of Secondary Education,
    “Shiksha Sadan’, 17, Rouse Avenue, New Delhi-110002”

    If your aspiring to become an teacher then , after completing 12th standard you may apply for following course like,
    • EET :- Elementary Teacher Training
    • JBT :- Junior Basic Training
    • NTT :- Nursery Teacher Training
    • B.Ed :- Bachelor of Education .

    To become an Teacher you have to qualified in any one of the course then you may get teacher job in reputed schools .

    If your interested to apply for EET ( Elementary Teacher Training ) then you should complete 12th standard with 60% percentage of marks from recognized university . The eligibility Criteria for EET course is differ from institution to institution . This course entrance examination may conducted by institution in the month of May / June . The Syllabus for this entrance examination consist of English / General Knowledge / Aptitude Test / Basic Arithmetic etc.. So you have to go through this syllabus to get good percentage of marks in entrance examination . The result for this Examination may be published in reputed news papers in month of June / July .

    If your interested to apply for ( Junior Basic Training ) course then you should complete 12th standard with 50% percentage of marks ( or ) You should qualified in graduation in any discipline with 45% percentage of marks from recognized university . If your satisfy the eligibility criteria then your eligible to take entrance examination conducted by various institution , If your qualified in entrance examination then your eligible to get admission for JBT course .

    If your interested to apply for NTT ( Nursery Teacher Training ) course then you should complete 12th in any discipline with 50% percentage of marks from recognized university .

    If your interested to apply for B.Ed course then you should complete graduation in any discipline with 50% percentage of marks from recognized university .

    If your qualified in any one of the course then definitely you may become a teacher in reputed university or Institution .

    am i eligible to enroll in polytechnic in Mechanical after completing my BE in IT .
