    Indian Public service exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.This exam is part Civil Service exam.And IPS is conducted to take skilled Police officer's to the different department in the Public sector as Police.

    Eligibility criteria for IPS Exam:
    Candidate should have completed graduation degree course with any stream from a recognized university.
    Age should be between 21 to 30 years for general category,21 to 33 years for obc category,21 to 35 years for sc/st category candidates.

    Important dates for Civil Service(IPS) exam:
    Opening date of application form is 4th Feb 2012
    Closing date of application form is 5th March 2012
    Exam will be held on 20th May 2012.

    Yes..as per your educational qualification you can apply for IPS along with the other eligibilities.
    The list of Eligibility conditions are:
    1.A pass in a degree from any university.
    2.A citizen of india.
    3.Age limit: completed 21 years.For SC category, the age limit is 35.
    4.An SC category can attempt the exam many a time.
    5.One has to qualify the priliminary, main exam & interview to get into IAS

    Indian Civil Services which is considered as the back bone of the Indian government.There are 3 types of services recruited through Civil's exam.

    Yes you are eligible to appear for the Indian Police Service exam after completing your graduation .

    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Exam once in a year.

    The Civil Services Exam conducts exam for entry into a various prestigious posts all over the

    country . Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is conducted under the UPSE .

    Eligibility for IPS ( Police Service exam)
    • You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary)


      Exam form and not more then 30 years of age .

    • You must have a graduate degree in any discipline of any of the Universities

    • Candidates who are in the final semester or have taken their final degree exam but are

    there are some eligibility criteria which are to be followed...
    *should be an Indian
    *should have minimum age of 21-30 years
    *should complete graduation form any university approved by the central or state government of India
    *a general candidate can try only 4 times for the examination
    *depending on the castes there will be the relaxation time for the examination

    Yes,you are eligible to apply for this examination.

    To apply for the examination,the candidate need the graduation from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    So,after completing you are graduation and then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

    The examination is divided into three parts : 1)Preliminary 2)Main 3)Interview.

    Preliminary examination consist of two papers and both papers are objective type.Each paper consist of 200 marks and the time duration is 2 hrs.Those who are clearing the preliminary examination and then called for the main examination.After clearing the main examination,the candidates are called for the Interview.This is the process of this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria for this examination :-

    >>>>>The candidate should have a completed graduation in any desire subject from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    Dear friend.
    Indian police service is an integral part of the Indian civil service. It is conducted by the union public service commission every year for the posts of high ranking officers in the Indian police departments.
    To be eligible for this exam one has to be a 21 to 32 years of age and must have completed his or her graduation from a reputed institute or a recognised university. One can attempt this exam 4 times for the general category and 7 times for the sc/st category.
    The exam notifiation generally comes in jan or feb and the exam is conducted in the mid of every year.The exam consist of 3 stages:
    1.Prelim exam of objective tyoe
    2.Mains exam of subjective written type with optional and main subjects priorities.
    3. Interview or the physical fitness test.

    After clearing these stages one is sent for 1 year training and then alloted a seat as an officer.

    So as per question you are eligible for this exam even if you are just a pass in graduation!

    Yes, After completing Graduate degree course you are eligible to apply for the UPSC Civil services examination to become IPS Officer.

    If your aim is to become IPS Officer in future then for this you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination, this examination was conducted by UPSC Every year in 2 stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    >> Preliminary examination are also called CSAT Examination, CSAT Stands for Civil services Aptitude test and in this examination there are 2 papers of same marks and duration. The examination was Objective and you have to cracked this examination first only then you are eligible to apply for the Main examination. In main examination you have to choose the Optional Subjects as per your Graduation.

    To become IPS Officer you need to fulfill the Given Eligiblity Criteria -

    *one should be an Indian,or should permenently settle in India...
    *should have the age of 21 years,and should not exceed 30...
    *should receive the certificate of graduation by any university certified by the government of India...
    *should have the knowledge about in all aspects....
    *in case of general candidates can apply or number of attempts are 4 attempts
    *sc/st has no restriction
    *other bc's 7 times

    If you want to start IPS preparation then first you should know that its a difficult process,people left it in mid way.first you have to have a lot of patience,do hard work and be determine.Only then you can achieve which you want.

    Now let me tell you for IPS you have to appear for CSAT exam conducted by UPSC.For IAS you have to select two subjects which you like the most,among the subjects list specified by UPSC.
    You have to prepare two subjects very deeply.other than that you have to prepare for general knowledge,aptitude,logical reasoning for Pre exam.

    Eligibility for CSAT:

    My friend joining IPS is not a child game,its not so much easy.You have to work very hard for that.But if you seriously want to join IPS then you should prepare for that.

    Yes you are eligible to become IPS officer after completing graduation but first of all you have to first cleat the stages of Selection and they are:

    1)CSAT(CIVIL SERVICES APTITUDE TEST)
    2)MAINS EXAM
    3)PERSONAL INTERVIEW


    You must also be physically good if you wanted to join IPS(INDIAN POLICE SERVICE).

    since you have completed your graduation you are eligible o give the IPS exam but they still have certain more criteria like
    1) Age limit - 21 to 30
    2) physical capabilities
    3) no of attempts.

    Yes off course you are eligible to become an IPS(Indian administrative services) offices just after completing your graduation.
    The procedure to become an IPS officer can be explained as follows:
    1)Preliminary examinations:
    This is the first stage in the whole procedure.This is an objective examination.Questions from various subjects for example logical reasoning,
    mathematics, general awareness,etc.

    2)Mains examinations:
    This is the second stage which can enable you to get to the third stage.This is an subjective examination .For this purpose you have to
    choose subjects according to your preference.Mostly subjects that have been already studies are chosen by candidates.

    3)Personal interview:
    This is the last and the most crucial stage in the whole procedure.You can appear for the interview in the language of your choice.

    yes you are eligible for IPS examination after graduation. the eligibility criteria for joining the Indian police Services is that an aspirant should be a minimum garduate from a recognised university or a college in India. He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination
    IPS is Indian Police Service,this exam is conducted by UPSC and to be eligible for this exam the criteria's which you must undergo are:

    Eligibility:

    Candidate must have a citizenship of India.

    Age limits:

    Candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years for the general category.

    Candidate must have a age limit of 21-35 years for the SC/ST category.

    Candidate must have a age limit of 21-33 years for the OBC category.

    Candidates who are Ex-service men will get a 5 years exception.

    Education Qualification:

    Candidate must have a degree from a recognized university.

    Candidate who are writing their final degree exam or waiting for their results can also apply for this exam.

    Yeah you can apply for the IPS exam after doing your graduation in B.tech

    Attempts:

    For SC/ST there is no limit.

    For OBC it is 7

    Indian Police Service (IPS) examination is known as the one of the civil services examination which is conducted in every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). To appear in the IPS examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    For Indian Police Service ,you must be citizen of India.

    Age limits :

    You must have attained the age of 21 Yrs and must not Attained the age of 30 Yrs on 1st August,2012.

    The Upper age limit will be Applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

    Upto a maximum Five Years for Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribes.

    Upto a Maximum three years for Other Backward Classes.


    Education Qualification :

    You must hold a Bachelor's degree of any Recognized University.

    If you are in the final year of a degree course can also Eligible.

    Number of Attempts :

    Four Attempts for Open.

    Seven Attempts for OBC category.

    eligible criteria for IPS:

    Age:::

    General category:

    UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

    For Getting Into IPS(Indian Police Service) you need to appear for the exam that is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. The Notification about the Exam is Given in the Employment Newspaper.



    Eligibility Criteria:

    >> You must be a citizen of India.

    Age Limits:
    >> Your Minimum age must be 21 years and maximum age must be 30 years in case you are from General Category.
    >> Age Relaxation For OBC is 3 years.
    >> Age Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years.

    Educational Qualification:
    >> You must be a graduate from A Recognized University With a minimum of 60%.
    >> Final Year students can also apply for the exam.

    Attempts:
    >> General Category Candidates ca Attempt 4 times.
    >> OBC Candidates 7 times.

    yes you are eligible for IPS examination after graduation.
    You need to first clear the CSAT exam conducted by UPSC.
    Then the eligibility for giving the IPS exam is as follows:-
    Between 21-30 years for general category and 21-35 years for SC/ST/OBC.
    A graduate from any recognized university.
    4 attempts for general category and 7 attempts for OBC/SC/ST.

    Hi friend

    Yes you are eligible to become IPS officer after completing your graduation.
    And after completing your graduation you need the following condition that is -

    1. At first you have to be complete your graduation with at least 50% of marks from any recognize University.

    2. You must have to be an Indian.

    3. Your age have to be between 21-30 years for general candidate and for SC category the age limit is to be under 35 years.

    4. Then you have to be qualified the preliminary, then main exam then interview.


    And if you complete this all stage then you can become an IPS officer.

    Yes dude you are eligible to appear for the Indian Police Service exam after completing your graduation .

    IPS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

    UPSC conducts the Civil Services Exam once in a year.

    The Civil Services Exam conducts exam for entry into a various prestigious posts all over the country .

    Indian Police Service (IPS) exam is conducted under the UPSE .

    Eligibility for IPS ( Police Service exam) is as follows:-

    You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam form and not more then 30 years of age .

    You must have a graduate degree in any discipline of any of the Universities

    If you are in the final semester or have taken their final degree exam but awaiting the results can also appear IPS

    You have to provide proof of degree when appearing for the Mains .

    After completion of your graduation degree you are applicable for IPS exam.

    IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.


    Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

    But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
    In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

    The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.
    Also you must be citizen of India.
