    no dear its a requirement for the exam that you should have bachelors degree with you.
    so dear in respect to give the exam you should first complete your bachelors degree in any aspect under authorised university.
    so dear first complete your bachelors degree then go for ips officer exam.

    I.P.S officers are selected in UPSC examination.
    Eligibility for IPS Exam:
    @ complete any one of the bachlor degree.
    @ age limite : 21 - 30 as general categeri.
    @ you are Indian citizenship.
    @ there are 9 papers on UPSC exam.

    Yes,you can.IPS IS NOT A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY BUT IT IS A CIVIL SERVICE.

    OFFICERS ARE SELECTED ON THE BASIS OF PROFESSIONAL MERIT SHOWN BY THEM IN THE COMPETITIVE EXAMS

    TO BE SELECTED IN THE IPS ONE HAS TO BE ELEVATED FROM THE STATE CADRE OR GET SELECTED I THE RIGOROUS CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION CONDUCTED BY THE UPSC EVERY YEAR .

    THE ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS OF IPS ARE:-

    1.INDIAN CITIZENSHIP

    2.DEGREE IN ANY DISCIPLINE FROM ANY RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY

    THERE ARE ALSO CERTAIN AGE LIMITS WITH CERTAIN RELAXATIONS TO THE RESERVED CATEGORIES.

    A + 2 or 12 standard is never eligible for IPS Officer exam.IPS (Indian Police Service)entrance examination is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year.

    IPS ELIGIBILITY: EDUCATION: Minimum a Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University in any stream can write UPSC IAS exam.

    AGE:- General: 21-30 years, relaxations for OBC:3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years.

    Nationality: Indian. Male/Female both can write IPS entrance exam.

    Attempts: General: 4 attempts.OBC: 7 attempts.S/C S/T : No limit.

    So, as you are +2 you are not eligible for IPS exam. Visit http://www.upsc.gov.in

    No you are not eligible for IPS after +2. You need to have graduation degree for this .

    Union Public service Commission conducts IPS ,IAS IFS post exams through Civil Services entrance exam .

    You have to appear in CSAT entrance exam:

    Civil Services Apititude Test( CSAT) , this common exams for all posts like IPS IAS ......

    Indian Police Services is the Government Administrative service.

    Elligibity For IPS :

    *Candidate must have graduate in any stream from recognized university.

    Candidate age should be 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation for OBC candidates 3 years and for SC ST 5 years.

    * Candidate should be citizen of India.

    * candidate should be physically fit .

    You can attempt IPS :

    general :4 times.

    OBC: 7 times

    SC ST : no limits.

    IPS is the Good post for job purpose.

    Hi aspirant,

    No, You are not eligible for this exam. You are too young to apply for this exam.

    IPS or Indian Police Service exam is conducted by UPSC for recruiting police officials into various police department posts such as SP,DSP,DGP,AGP,IGP, etc. This exam is conducted once a year.

    This services can be achieved through two ways one is direct exam another is through the departmental privileges.

    Eligibility Criteria for entering through direct exam procedure:

    Academic Qualification :

    --> You must have completed your graduation course in any of the streams from a university tha has been given recognition by AICTE under UGC Act.

    Age limits :

    --> You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    --> The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    --> upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    --> upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    Number of attempts :

    The number of attempts can vary based on the Reservation your have i.e
    --> General candidates: four attempts.
    --> Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
    --> Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.


    Selection procedure:
    --> Preliminary Examination: It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination.
    --> Main Examination: It consists of written examination
    --> and interview.

    The notification for Civil Examination is out if you're eligible do apply, the Important dates are
    --> Date of notification: First week of February
    --> Last Date for Receipt of Applications: First Week of March
    --> Date of Exam (Prelims) : Third Week of May
    --> Date of Commencement of Exam(Mains) : FIrst Week of June.

    Second way to become IPS Officer in India through departmental limited competitive examination.

    --> UPSC board conduct a limited competitive examination for this post and only those candidates can apply for this exam who have following eligibility criteria :
    --> Should have completed 05 years of continuous and actual service as Deputy Superintendent of Police in States under State Police Service or Assistant Commandants in Central Para Military Forces or Officers of the rank of Major or Captain in Armed Forces of India.
    --> Should have an unblemished service record
    --> Age should not be more than 35 years and relaxation in upper age as 1 year for OBC and 2 year for SC/ST
