    Am I eligible to become IAS officer after completing B.A Sanskrit?

    Hello Sir
    my qualifications is b.a.with sanskrit then i qualified for ias exam?

    Yes, you are eligible for I.A.S exam.

    I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.
    Eligibility criteria:-
    >pass the graduation from recognized university.
    > Age limit:-
    For open category:-21-30year
    For OBC category :- 21-33year
    For ST/SC category:-21-37 year
    > Number of attempts:-
    For open category:- 4
    For ST/SC category:-7
    > Must be citizen of India.

    CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM., 2012
    Date of notification:-04.02.2012
    Last date of receipt of exam:- 05.03.2012(MONDAY)
    Date of exam:-20.05.2012(SUNDAY)

    CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM., 2012
    Date of exam:- 05.10.2012(FRIDAY)

    HI

    Yes ,you are eligible to give IAS exam conducted by UPSC.

    To become a Indian Administrative Service Officer,then you should appear for Civil Service exam.But now you are not eligible for Civil Service exam.

    Eligibility criteria for Civil Service exam:
    Education Qualification:
    You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
    Age Limit:
    And age should be between 21 to 30 years.
    Age Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years.
    Appearing for final exam of above mentioned course can also eligible.


    This exam notification will release in the month of Feb every year.

    Yes, You are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination to become IAS Officer in future.

    IAS stands for Indian Administration Services and to become IAS Officer you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination, this examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in 2 stages :

    >> Preliminary Examination (CSAT Examination)
    >> Main examination.

    Those who cracked both these examination are eligible for Final Interview to become IAS Officer.

    But, Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination and there are 2 papers in this examination and both are Objective and both are of same Marks.

    If you cracked this examination, then you are eligible to appear for Main examination.

    Main examination is Descriptive one and there are 9 papers in this examination. So please prepare well for Preliminary examination and then you will be able to cracked this examination.

    Eligibility Criteria :
    ----------------

    >> To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >> Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam.

    >> Your age should between 21 to 30 years.

    Preliminary Examination Date : 20/May/2012.

    The Notification will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the Official website in the month of February, So please wait for the Notification and then apply for this examination Online.

    So, please prepare well for Preliminary examination according to the give Syllabus and Pattern.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

    To become IAS Officer,then the candidate need to clear the Civil Service Examination.

    Civil Service examination consist of three levels :-
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    • Preliminary Examination
    • Main Examination
    • Personal Interview

    Preliminary examination can be divided into two papers and both papers are Objective types questions and candidate who are clearing the preliminary examination then the candidate are called for the Main examination.

    Main Examination is descriptive one and there are nine papers in main examination and there is one optional papers also.This paper candidate choice.

    Eligibility Criteria for IAS :-
    -----------------------------------------

    To apply for IAS examination,the candidate need to completed Graduate degree in any discipline of a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

    >>>Those in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for this examination.

    >>>The candidate age lies between 21 years and 30 years as on 1st august of the years of examination.

    Attempts :- 4 for General candidate,7 for OBC candidate and No limits for SCST candidates.
