dear friend, yes,you can apply for AIPMT as well as STATE LEVEL PMT to pursue the course .but obviously you will have to qualify these examinations to become a dentist or a mbbs doctor, these are very tough examinations and those who have completed their hsc with biology as a core subject.if you had biology in your hsc.then surely you can apply for the same.

Yes, you are eligible to go for BDS. Most of the common entrance test have set a percentage of 50% marks aggregate for PCB(physics chemistry and biology). There is a separate minimum of 50% marks for Biology. Certain deemed Universities have separate rules and might vary however 50% mark in HSE is considered as the minimum qualification. For appearing for the exam you need to appear for the common entrance test conducted by various boards. You need to appear for examination on Physics Chemistry and Biology, Usually objective type questions. The allotment process is based on the rank obtained during the entrance examination. The BDS course is a 5 year course. You have to do internship on completing in order to complete the course once completing you can look up on pg and specialize on a particular area of interest.

A wide range of career opportunities exist in the filed of dentistry.

Dental departments in hospitals, dental clinics and nursing homes need the services of dentists.

Apart from this the Forensic Departments also need good dentists who are involved in identification of deceased persons

Pharmaceuticals and other companies, which produce dental and oral care products, require dentists for research and advisory works.

One can also take up work as a Dental Hygienist, Dental assistant or as a Dental consultant to models and film artists.

Self-employment is also a lucrative avenue and one can become a private practitioner.

For those with an adventurous kind of personality one can also join the Army Dental Corps.

The Armed forces also recruit dentists directly.

Recruitment to a government job is through UPSC and Staff Selection Commission for states.

    good luck . . .
