Re: Am I eligible for Bank exams after completing 12th with 49% of marks?

After Completing 12Th examination Candidates are eligible for Bank Clerical Examination And To apply for this examination you need to scored minimum 55% to 60% Marks.

    >> For Nationalized Banks such as SBI you need to scored minimum 60% marks in your 12Th examination But for Private banks You need to scored minimum 55% Marks. But for some banks you need to complete Graduation examination Like PNB. For PNB clerical examination you need to be a graduate and your age should between 20 to 25 years. But for SBI Banks your age should between 18 to 28 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC and Other reserved Category candidates.

The Notification was Published in the employment newspaper and Candidates may have to Fill the Application form Online By visit the Bank Recruitment Website.

    >> But you have scored only 49% marks, So you are not eligible for Bank Clerical examination.

So, Its better to complete your Graduation degree course and then apply for Bank PO examination Because for Bank PO examination Post you need to be a graduate in any discipline and there is no minimum Percentage Eligiblity Criteria to apply for Nationalized Banks.

    >> But for Other Private Banks you need to scored minimum 55% marks in graduation, Only then you are eligible to apply for Bank PO examination.

So when the Notification was Published, then please read it carefully before Applying.

But Now you are not eligible for bank Clerical examination and For More Information, please check the Banks Websites.

The eligibility for Bank Clerk exam is as follows:
-Passed in 10+2 exam with at least 60% marks.
    -Age limit: 18-28yrs.

As you have scored low,I don't think so you can apply for the exam.
Don't worry, after your graduation you can apply for PO exam.
But for PO exam also you need to have at least 60% marks.

Re: Am I eligible for Bank exams after completing 12th with 49% of marks?

bank exams one needs 60% marks in 10+2 standard to apply. If you are having 60% marks in 10+2, then you can apply for clerk exam in any exam. Some banks are providing the facilities to apply for bank exam to those who have only passing marks in graduation.

For the clerical jobs in public sector banks like
    sbi, syndicate, union bank,andhra bank
you need to have a minimum of 55% and it might be the same for almost all private sector banks like ICICI, and axis banks.

The procedure would be written test followed by interview and sometimes some private sector banks like ICICI, they may also conduct group discussion in addition to written test and interview.

The written test may consist of
    1.reasoning
    2.quantitative aptitude
    3.general english
    4.general awareness
    5.computer awareness.

There is negative marking too and it is mostly 1/4 th.
