Yes you will be eligible for appearing in the UPSC exam even if you have scored 2nd Division in 10+2 exam.

In order to appear in this exam you will require to meet the following eligibility:-

    >>You should be graduation pass out from recognized university.
    >>Your degree should be approved from the AICTE.
    >>Your minimum age should be 21 years.
    >>Your age should not be above 28 years.
    >>Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.

YES YOU CAN CERTAINLY APPLY FOR UPSC EXAMS IN FUTURE WITHOUT IN ANY OBSTACLE.

YOU MENTIONED THAT YOU MANAGED ONLY 2ND DIVISION IN THE 10+2 EXAMS,SO LET ME TELL YOU THAT IN ANY UPSC EXAM,THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA STARTS FROM GRADUATION,YOU NEED TO BE MINIMUM GRADUATE TO APPLY FOR MOST OF THE UPSC EXAMS,AND ALSO IN THE UPSC EXAMS YOU WILL BE NEVER ASKED THE MARKS IN 10+2,AS YOU WILL BE APPLYING FOR THE EXAM WITH GRADUATION ,SO YOUR MARKS IN GRADUATION WILL BE IMPORTANT,IN ANY UPSC EXAM YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SHOW YOUR MARKS OF GRADUATION.

AND THE SECOND IMPORTANT THING THAT IN MOST OF THE UPSC EXAMS,ONE JUST NEED TO BE GRADUATE,AND THERE IS NO PERCENTAGE BAR .
LIKE FOR APPLYING IAS,IPS,IES CONDUCTED BY UPSC YOU DO NOT NEED TO SCORE MINIMUM PERCENTAGE IN THE GRADUATION,YOU JUST HAVE TO BE GRADUATE AND THAT IS ENOUGH.

    Hi Friend........

There is no chance to apply for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) with 12th standard

because the minimum education qualification for UPSC is any bachelor of degree

    Basic Eligibility Criteria

    >> Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university, there is no percentage required, final year appeared students also eligible for this examination

    >> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years, and age relaxation for SC/ST/PHC/Ex-Serviceman as per govt. norms

    >> Candidates should be a citizen of India

    UPSC Conducted Examinations

    all the best.........

    Regards......
