Re: Am I eligible to apply for IES exam having backlogs in B.Tech?

    Hello friend

IES stands for Indian Engineering Services

Yes after completing B.tech you can write IES exam
But keeping backlogs, you can't appear for IES exam
You must provide the certificates while appling for the main exam

Not only for IES other UPSC exams like IAS, IPS, CDS etc also need you to complete B.Tech
You can't even apply for M.Tech courses having backlogs
This backlogs will effect alot and will trouble you
The only way to get jobs or write the competative exams is completing B.Tech
Without completing B.Tech , you will not get your certificates
These are common rules for all the Universities

Re: Am I eligible to apply for IES exam having backlogs in B.Tech?

    Hi Friend...

Dude during your 4 years b.tech is you have backlogs also it will not be a matter you can complete it and can appear for the IES examination ,and also after the clearing of the backlogs only you can appear for the Indian Engineering Services examination...

not only for IES examination you can appear for the any of the examination only after clearing of the subjects in your bachelors of technology course only or during the study of 4 years only...
so after clearing all the subjects along your 4 years bachelor degree course of study then appear for the IES examination ,then you can appear for any of the government sectors or the private sectors recruitment's...

The IES examination is of the Indian Engineering Services which is conducted for different kinds of the government sectors recruitment's and the candidates who had completed the engineering in the respective areas of study such as the
    Electronics and Communication Engineering
    Electrical and Electronics Engineering
    Mechanical engineering
    Civil Engineering
these are the 4 branches of engineering for which the IES examination is eligible for...

so first concetrate on your back logs as you are in your 4th year of the engineering course of study and then appear for the IES examination....

Re: Am I eligible to apply for IES exam having backlogs in B.Tech?

By the time you complete your B.Tech graduation if you do not have any of the backlogs then you will be eligible for any of the exams.
So, don't worry clear all the backlogs by the completion of the final year.
But if you do not clear your backlogs then you will become ineligble for attempting the examination.
So, try to be careful and don't spoil your future.
If you have a degree then you can apply for any type of government job but maintain at least 60% so that you may be in the positive side.
    All the best.

Re: Am I eligible to apply for IES exam having backlogs in B.Tech?

    My dear friend.

As you have mentioned that you are having backlogs in B.Tech you are not eligible.

Because for IES B.Tech should be complete and there should not be any pending backlogs.

As you are saying that you will clear your backlogs then you will become eligible.

First of all completion of B.Tech is required.

Once you do that and there are no pending backlogs you will be eligible for IES.

So make sure you will clear that.

After that you can happily go for IES.

    Thank You.

    Regards
    tanveersandhu.
