Re: Am I eligible to apply for IAS entrance exam after completing B.Sc in Microbiology and Biochemistry?

Yes any candidate who has completed graduation can apply for this test. So students from any area of specialisation can apply. This is provided they pursued the same from a recognised institute. There is also a age limit beyond which the candidate will not be eligible to apply. The candidate applying should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years. However some relaxation is the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST, physically handicapped etc. You must select the subject based on the area of specialisation for the main exam. You can expect the application for the exam to be available from February.
