civil services exam is conducted by UPSC every year, for civil services exams the eligibility criteria is graduate from any university either regular or correspondance..... and age should be between 21-30......

To apply for Civil services examination, you need to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised university. It was Not mentioned in the UPSC Website that only Regular Graduate are eligible, So you are also apply for this examination.

The examination was conducted into 2 stages - Preliminary examination and Main examination.

Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination and then you are eligible to Sit for Main examination, After completing BBA Course from Annamalai University through Correspondence, You are eligible to apply for UPSC Civil services examination.

Annamalai University is a recognised University and After completing BBA form this university, You are eligible for Civil services examination, So please do Not worry because you are eligible for Civil services examination in 2012.

So, If your age should between 21 to 30 years, then you are eligible to apply for this examination, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

>> The Notification of This examination was Published on 04/Feb/2012, in the employment Newspaper OR in the UPSC website, The last date of apply for this examination was 05/March/2012 and the examination was Going to be held on 20/May/2012.

So, Please apply for this examination next year after declaring the Notification, You can fill the application form Online By visit the UPSC Website.

Yes, You are definitely eligible for CIVILS though you have done BBA through Correspondence..

Eligibility criteria for CIVILS:::

* You must be an Indian.
* Age limits for CIVILS:
- You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

* Number of attempts::
- General candidates: four attempts.
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.

->Preliminary Examination would consist of two papers- Paper I and Paper II.

Civil Service exam was conducted by UPSC.The meaning of UPSC is "UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION".UPSC was conducted the exam every year.

Yes u are elligible because for civil sevices exams only graduation is required in any discipline from recognised university ,this exam is conducted by upsc every year and there no notification for regural colleges or correspondence .so every student who are graduate can give the civil servics entrance exam.so dont loose your hope.thenku all the best.
