    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and it will conducts the common written examination for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks.

    >> The Registration process of IBPS Examination was already Started and to apply for this examination you need to satisfied any one of the eligibility Criteria -

    (1) Candidates may apply for this examination after completing 10Th Examination. But in 10Th examination you need to scored minimum 60% marks (OR)

    (2) Candidates have completed his 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks in your 12Th examination.

    ->The name of the exam is COMMON WRITTEN EXAM.

    dear friend

    IBPS-Institute of Banking personal selection is a common exam for the bank clerical post for 19 banks . you can see the bank list on the official website of IBPS.

    eligibilty criteria for this exam is-

    education-

    1-a 10th pass student with minimum 60% can give that exam or
    2-a 12th pass student with minimum 50% can give that exam or
    3-a graduation degree pass student can give that exam.

    Age-
    between 18 to 28 years.5 years relaxation for sc/st student in upper age.

    so you can give that exam only if you are a pass out student of graduation degree or you have atleast 60% in your 10th education under the required age limit.

    Hello

    IBPS (INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONNEL SELECTION ) is a common entrance test conducting 19 banks coming under it.

    As u said after your completion of +2 you can go for the IBPS entrance exam

    ELIGIBILITY :

    1.You had completed your HIGHER SECONDARY EXAM with 60% marks or MATRICULATION in any government approved course with 50% marks or DEGREE holder for the post of CLERK CADRE.

    2. If u opt for the post of PO's/MANAGEMENT TRAINEE you should complete DEGREE with any stream.

    3. You also check your AGE relaxation as given in the IBPS advertisement before applying.

    IBPS conducts this common entrance twice in a year.
    You can download the challan forms apply online from www.ibps.in.

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common bank exams for 19 public sector banks except for the SBI and its associates banks.

    Eligibility ::

    You should have completed your degree in any streams from a recognized university.

    You should be between 20 to 30 years to take the exam for general category students.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit.

    For SC/ST the relaxation in upper age is :: 5 years
    For OBC the relaxation in upper age is :: 3 years

    You can take the exam as many times as you want and their no limitation for it .

    The examination is of objective as well subjective types .Objective paper mainly deals with ::

    Quantitative Aptitude
    General Awareness
    English Language
    Computer Knowledge
    Reasoning

    Descriptive papers depends upon ::

    Essay writing
    Paragraph writing
    Point of views and
    Letter writing

    Sorry to say you can not apply for this year common bank exam because the date of submitting the form has been over .The last date to fill the application form was 2 august so you can not apply now.

    dear friend,

    IBPS exam is conduct for BANK PO for 17 banks .

    Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for BANK PO exam.

    Also all candidate age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    Selection process for IBPS exam-
    1) Written Test
    2)Personal Interview

    For written test you must be care about mathematics and general knowledge.

    So you are eligible for IBPS exam.

    No, You are not eligible with 48% in your Inter But, If you have got atleast 60% in your 10th then you are eligible to write IBPS clerk exams....

    I am very sorry to say but you can not appear in the IBPS exam scoring below 60% marks as general category and below 55% marks as reserved category.but no need to be worry,you can sit for the exam after Graduation also by scoring 60% marks.

    There are two types of exams which IBPS conducts they are Bank PO`s & Bank clerks. The eligibility criteria differ for both the exams they are as follows

    ELIGIBILITY FOR PO`S
    1.THE PERSON SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED HIS GRADUATION WITH A MINIMUM OF 55%
    2.HIS AGE MUST BE BETWEEN 21-30 YEARS

    ELIGIBILITY FOR CLERKS
    1.HIS AGE MUST BE IN BETWEEN 18-28 YEARS
    2.MUST HAVE COMPLETED +2 WITH 50%
    (OR)
    3.MUST HAVE COMPLETED HIS MATRICULATION WITH 60%

    So please check your percentage in the tenth class and apply for the IBPS Clerks which is commencing on November 2011.

    am i eligible for IBPS clerical exam. because my percentage in 10th and 12th class 48% and 55%. but in graduation my percentage is 68% . so please tell me am i eligible for IBPS clerical exam.

    Dear friend,
    No you can not appear in the IBPS exam with 48% marks.The criterion for IBPS exam are as follows-------------
    1)60% marks in 10th or 50% marks in 12th or 50% marks in Graduation.
    2)Age must be between 18-27 years(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is there).

    So,friend if you have scored 60% marks in your 10th then you can apply on that basis or you can apply on the basis of Graduation also.But on the basis of 12th you can not apply.
    Fees for apply is 350 for general category and 50 for reserved category.

    you are not eligible to apply for IBPS exam.
    Here is eligibility criteria-
    AGE-
    18 to 28 for general candidates.
    and For SC/ST -18 to 33
    OBC-18 to 31
    Now talking about qualification-
    Minimum qualification required to appeared in IBPS Clerk exam is 12th with 45% marks.
    So as you have 48% marks so my friend you are eligible for applying for IBPS Common clerical bank exam.

    you haven't mensioned your 10th marks so it is difficult to soy whether you are eligible or not......

    IBPS stands for indian banking personal selection, which is going to conduct a common written exam for 19 public
    sector banks working in india......for which the minimum eligibility is;

    -you must be 10th with minimum 60% marks or 12th with 50% or graduate

    -your age should be between 18-28

    if your 10th marks is above 60% then you will be eligible for the exam.....

    Hi friend !!

    All the common Bank Examinations are conducted by an Institution named as IBPS .

    IBPS -- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection .

    The Eligibility for IBPS exam is :
    Education qualifications - must pass / studying final year degree / engineering , which must be recognized by government of India .
    Required percentage in 10th is -- 50
    Required percentage in 10+2 is -- 55
    Required percentage in Graduation is -- 60

    The age must be between 20-30 years for general candidates , for SC/ST Candidates 5 years relaxation , for BC category students relaxation set as 3 years , for the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years .

    And also the student/candidate should me citizen of India.

    So as per the eligibility criteria mentioned above you are not eligible for IBPS examination .
