    Dear,
    you are not eligible to write civils exam.no there is no minimum cut off percentage for civils exam all you need to have degree from recognized university. you can write exam in your 3rd year last sem or final year, civils exam it will take complete one year for prelims and mains.so it is better to start 3rd or final year

    Well if you are thinking to fil application form now then sorry to say but the you can only
    fill the application form when you will be in final year pr have completed your Graduation ,so you can not fill this form this year .You have to wait till next year.Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC to
    select candidates for IAS,IPS and other services .


    Eligibility ::

    You must be graduate with any stream from a recognized college.
    You age should be between 21 to 30 years if you fall into general category .There is
    relation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits and no of attempts .

    35 year is upper age limit for SC/ST
    33 years is upper age limit for OBC

    No of attempts ::
    4 for general students
    7 for OBC students
    No limit for SC/ST

    Sorry to say this you are not eligible to apply for IAS examination because this examination only for pass out candidates and final year of graduate degree candidates.

    If you are pursing in the 2nd year B.Tech then you are not eligible apply for this examination but if you are pursing in the final year of degree course can apply for this examination.So please wait for another two year then apply for this examination.There is no backlogs at the time of appearing if you have any backlogs then you are not eligible to apply for IAS examination but if you are cleared your backlogs then no problem you are eligible to apply.

    IAS examination details :-

    The candidate must hold their degree in any desire subject like Science,Engineering,Technology,Commerce....etc from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and there is no percentage bar required for this examination.Graduation is enough to appear for IAS examination.Those in the final year of degree course may also eligible.

    Indian Administrative Service is part of Civil Service exam.So you should apply for civil service exam and should clear the exam with good score to become a IAS officer.

    To appear for civil service exam,you should have completed graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.And your age should be between 21 to 30 years.
    Note: Being in final year of Graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university can also eligible for Civil Service.
    If you backlog also no problem to appear for Civil Service exam,but you should clear the subject before you apply for the exam.

    As you are in 2nd year of B.tech course,so you can appear for civil service exam,when you reach 4th year of B.Tech course.

    Civil Service exam consist of Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.Preliminary exam notification will release on February month every year and exam will held on May month every year.Main exam will held on September month every year.

    It is regret to tell you it is not possible for you to be eligible for IAS while pursuing your graduation 2nd year. You must have completed graduation with any percent to get qualified for the IAS exams. So, first of all you need to finish your degree, then you can apply for the IAS exams conducted by UPSC every year.

    Sorry dude with out completing your graduation you are not eligible to apply for IAS exam.You can apply for IAS exam after completing your Graduation or If your in Final year of Graduation.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

    IAS is include in the services provided by civil services .Civil services include some other Posts like IPS,IFS etc... To apply for IAS exam you need to be a Graduate from a recognized university.Your age need to be between 21 - 30 years.

    Age relaxation is only for SC/ST/OBC . Your name should not be in any police records. You need to have minimum of 55% in your graduation(general) and for SC/ST/OBC it is 50%.

    The IAS exam is the most competitive exam of India with every year approximately 10 lakhs of apirants going for it oiut of which 300 get selected for the posts.
    To be eligible for the exam one has to be a graduate in any discipline with any passing percentage. The candidate must also be a 21 to years of age and there is some age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. The attempt criteria is that general category candidates can go for the exam 4 times whereas OBC-7 times and SC/ST unlimited no. of times.

    The selection procedure is very different and tough also with the first exam called as prelim exam-consist of the following pattern:

    No, you are not eligible to write IAS while doing 2nd year B.Tech. You can write IAS exams in the final year of your B.Tech or after completing it. There is no min. percentage required to write IAS. All you need is having a degree. And yes, you can certainly write IAS exams after cleared backlogs.

    You are not eligible to write civils exam in your 2nd year, all you need to have degree from recognized university.

    No there is no minimum cut off percentage for civils exam

    Better to start writing civils in final year
