    You are eligible to appear for IAS exam as the minimum qualification required is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Your age must be between 21 and 30 years. The syllabus of the Civil Services Aptitude Test consists of two compulsory subjects, each with two hundred marks. The duration of both the exams is 2 hours each. There is a negative marking for the incorrect answers. You can apply both online and offline. If you are applying online, then you must pay a fee of Rs. 50/- in any of the State Bank branches. You can use any of the facilities like Visa card, internet banking, Master Card, or Debit card for payment.

    Yes, Any graduate passed candidates are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination to become IAS Officer in future.

    It is good to see that you are Interested to become IAS Officer.

    IAS Stands for Indian Administrative services and to become IAS Officer, you have to cracked the UPSC Civil services examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC, Every year in 2 stages :

    >> Preliminary Examination : This is Objective type including 2 Objective papers, It is compulsory for all the candidates and if you cracked this examination then you are eligible for Main examination.

    >> Main examination : In this examination there are 9 papers and the examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the subjects on the basis of Graduation. The list of subjects is availiable in the official website s well as in Notifications.

    You have to wait for this year Civil services examination Notification, The Notification will be published soon on 04/Feb/2012.

    The last date of apply for this examination : 05/March/2012.

    The Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various services like the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, as well as Group A and Group B Central Services.


    You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years, The upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for candidates of OBC.

    To apply for this examination you must hold a degree of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. You not need to scored any minimum percentage is Graduation to apply for this examination. Those who are in final year are also apply for this examination.

    Hi dude,

    Yes for sure your eligible to appear for IAS exam.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative services.

    IAS is conducted by UPSC.

    To appear for this exam you need to complete your graduation.

    Your age need to be between 19 to 23 years.

    You need to be physically fit.

    You need to get at least 55% in graduation.

    If you belong to OBC category you have 7 attempts.

    If you belong to SC/ST category you have no limit .

    And if you are a general category student you have 5 attempts.

    Last date for applying for this exam is 5th of march 2012.

    Yes,You can apply for IAS exam.All the candidate who completed their graduate degree can apply for this exam.It doesn't matter by which stream you have done your graduation.

    Minimum qualification for IAS exam is 21 years and maximum is 30 years for generals.Other category candidate get relaxation accroding to the rules and norms of upsc.

    General candidate can apply 4 times and OBCs for 7 times. SC/ST has no limit for applying this exam.

    To become an IAS you will have to clear out all three stages of this exam:-
    1-Prilims
    2-Mains exam
    3-Interview

    As you have done Your Bachelors ,you are eligible for writing ias exam after completing aeronautical engineering.To become an IAS officer you have to apply for the civil service examination which is conducted by the UPSC.The examination is conducted once a year and any graduates students can apply for the exam if you satisfy the other eligibility criteria for the exam.The examination is done in two phases ::

    IAS is post under civil service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once,to take qualified students into different government service post in india like

    To appear for civil service exam,you should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.And your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    To become IAS officer,you should score good rank in civil service exam.Civil service exam consist of Preliminary Exam and Main exam.

    Exam notification for 2012 year:
    Preliminary exam notification will release on 4th Feb 2012,closes on 5th March 2012.And exam will held on 20th May 2012.
    Main exam will be held on 16th Sept 2012.

    To appear for Main exam,you should first clear the preliminary exam.
