    I am happy to inform you that there is no Age limit for applying for CTET exam.

    So at any age after completing your graduation you can apply.

    CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    CTET exam is conducted by CBSE for recruting teachers for students from1 to 8th .

    These exam is conducted Once every year.

    You need to have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks if you want teacher post for 1-5 class .

    You can also apply if your in the final year of Diploma course.

    You need to have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks if you want Teacher post for 6-8 class.

    Application forms will be available from November.

    Last date of applying will be last of November.

    Last date of applying through post is 30th of November.

    Exam will be conducted in the month of Janurary mostly in the last week .

    There Is No Age Limit For CTET exam.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Eligibility For class I to V:
    >>You must have passed the SSC with at least 50% marks .

    >>Final year students of their diploma can also apply for the examination .

    Eligibility For class VI to VIII:

    >>You must have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks.

    Examination Fee Details :

    >>For General Category and OBC Category Rs. 500 /-

    >>For SC / ST / Differently Abled Category Rs. 250 /-

    >>Fee should be made by Demand Draft or Credit/Debit Card.

    >>You can also send through Demand Draft then it should be ,n favour of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi.

    There is no age limit for CTET Examination . . .


    CTET is a Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    In this there is following post-


    Teacher(for classes I to V) :: Primary Stage

    Teacher(for classes Vi to VII):Elementary Stage


    Eligibility according to the Primary Stage:


    Graduation of two years Diploma in Elementary education.

    At least 45% of marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education.

    Eligibility according to Elementary Stage:

    Graduation with at least 50% marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education or B.ed.


    Important Dates:

    Sale of Application Form ::

    5th Nov to 25th Nov 2011

    Online registration opening:

    1 November 2011

    Closing:25 Nov 2011

    Last date for receipt of Application form in CBSE(Central Board of Secondary education):30 Nov 2011 both online and offline

    Date of written test exam :29 Jan 2012

    Paper I: 10 am to 11:30 pm

    Paper II 1 pm to 2:30 pm

    Application Fee:


    For SC/ST it is 250/- Rs

    For General and OBC it is 500/-Rs

    Pattern of Exam:


    This will be an objective type questions.

    AND THE PROCEDURE IS:

    Central Teacher Eligibility Test
    The CBSE, New Delhi conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test for the recruitment of qualified aspirants to fill in the primary and lower primary teachers vacancies in CBSE. Those who are chosen in the written test have to appear for an individual interview thereafter. You have to clear all these procedures can expect employments as teachers in CBSE schools across the country.

    Structure and Pattern of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    Separate tests like Paper I and Paper II are conducted for Class I – IV and Class VI – VIII teachers. Both the tests are of objective type, which lasts for 1.30 hours. The test comprises of questions on Environmental Studies, Child growth and Pedagogy, Language and Mathematics. There will not be any negative marking in the test.

    Qualification Criteria for Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    The qualification criterion is different for Class I – V and Class I – VIII teachers.
    • Class I – V: You should have passed the intermediate course in any of the streams from a recognized Board. Additionally, they should have done Diploma or graduation course in Elementary Education. The percentage requirement in the 10+2 course is 50% for B Ed candidates and 45%
    • Class I – VIII: The educational qualification required to attend the test is a pass in the Bachelors’ degree program in Arts or Science disciplines with 50%. In addition, they should have done the graduation program in Education, which is recognized by the recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.
    Application Procedure for Central Teacher Eligibility Test

    Applicants can procure forms either from CBSE, New Delhi or from the selected branches of Syndicate bank. After duly filling the forms, you should send it to the CTET Unit by post or in person prior to the last date enclosing the relevant documents. They can also rely upon the online modes for submitting the CTET forms.

    TET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of schools.

    You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.

    The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

    There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

    1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
    2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
    3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

    Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy

    2. Mathematics

    3. Environmental Study

    4. Language I (medium of instruction)

    5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

    As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each.

    HI friend

    CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility test.
    You have to wait a couple of months for the notifications of CTET 2012.

    Important dates this year:


    1.Sale of forms: April 20 to may 10

    2.Last date for submission of forms: May 12

    3.Admit card issued : June 11 to 17

    ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY:

    >> Class I – V:

    You should have passed your class12 from a recognized Board. You should also have done your Diploma or graduation course in Elementary Education. In class 12 you need to have a minimum 50%.

    >>Class VI – VIII:

    The educational qualification required is a Bachelors degree in any discipline.
