    hello
yes after b.com you will eligible for CA.
ICAI provide a facility that after bcom student can do CA without given any entrance exam.
if you are register for CA then you have to give CPT exam but if you are not register for CA exam then after complete b.com with 60% marks you can get admission in IPCC directly.
for more detail you can visit:

Thumbs up Re: Am I eligible to appear in CA exam after completing B.Com External?

    Hello Pooja

Yes, you will be eligible for Chartered Accountancy course if you have the following criteria

    1. Commerce graduates with minimum 50% marks.
    2. Non Commerce graduates other than Mathematics as their main subject with minimum 55% marks.
    3. Non Commerce graduates with Mathematics as their main subject with minimum 60% marks.

So pooja, if you fall under any of these criteria then you are eligible for preparing the CA course. All you have to do is to with your qualification you can directly apply for the IPCC (Integrated Proficiency Competence Course) with out registering for CPT (Common Proficiency Test).

The duration of IPCC course would be 9 months from the day of registering, then at the same time you also complete Orientation training and 100 hrs of IT (Information Technology) training before commencement of the Articled training.

At the end of the IPCC, you have to pass Group I and II exam papers, so that you can join as Articled clerks which will be a duration of 3 years.

Then after 3 years completion register for CA final course and appear for the CA examination, so that after qualifying the CA final examination you can register as member of ICAI with your designation as "Chartered Accountant".

Friend another thing to remember that, there is no age limit to apply for CA course, so you can write any number of times.

So pooja, for more information regarding the eligibility and examination details you can go through the following site www.icai.org

    Regards.
