    Am I eligible to appear in bank clerical or PO(Probationary Officer) exams after scoring 66% in 10th, 53% in 12th, 51% in degree and 70% in Post graduation?

    hello sir/madam
    i got 66% marks in tenth,53% in XII ,51% in Degree,70% in PG.am i eligible for writing bank clerical or PO exam

    Hello my dear aspirant,



    Yes,You are eligible to apply for Bank PO and Clerical cadre examinations after completing Degree with 51% Of Marks. IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel.It is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks.You have chance to apply for both PO position and Clerical cadre positions.Here you will be having chance to apply for all the banks with single time payment and single time written test.Once go through following eligibility criteria;

    ~~For clerical cadre position,then you must be having at least 55% of marks from your Intermediate from recognized board.Your age should be between 18 to 28 yrs.

    ~~For PO position then you must be having at least 50% of marks in your graduation from recognized university and 5% relaxation is available for SC and ST candidates.Your age should be between 18 yrs to 28 yrs.

    If you satisfy above eligibility criteria then You can apply for IBPS common written exam.If you qualify in this test then you have chance to 19 government sector banks interview.If you qualify in this interview then you can get the job in all the 19 government sector banks.

    The minimum Qualification for Applying is a DEGREE ........

    The Degree might be......

    1. B.A

    2. B.Com

    3. B.Sc

    4. B.Tech

    5. B.Ed

    6. B.Arch................etc




    For Bank exams..........There is a Common Written Examination (CWE)......


    For that you need to write IBPS (Institute of Banking and personnel Selection)...............

    The syllabus would be .....

    Syllabus for IBPS PO Exam 2012

    1.Reasoning-50 MARKS

    2. Quantitative Aptitude-50 MARKS

    3.Computer Knowledge-50 MARKS

    4.General Awareness-50 MARKS

    5.English Knowledge-25 MARKS

    6.English Descriptive Paper-25 MARKS..............

    my percentage in graduation is 54% can i appear in bank p.o exam

    Yes, You are eligible for Bank Clerk and PO exam because you have completed graduation degree .So you can apply any post of clerk and PO exam.

    Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam like IBPS and SBI .

    They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.


    But your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.


    BANK PO exam consist of two steps 1) Written test 2)Personal Interview.


    Pattern for PO exam:-




    You are applicable for SBI and IBPS clerk Exam also.

    Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.

    Graduate persons are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.


    Your age should be between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.


    If you have completed 10th standard with above 60% marks or completed 12th with above 50% marks or completed Graduation degree , then you are applicable for IBPS clerk exam.
