All India Agriculture Undergraduate Entrance exam

Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts the Undergraduate AIEEA to select the qualified aspirants to pursue the graduation programs in Agriculture. Those who clear the test can seek for admissions within the institutes that come under the ICAR-Deemed Universities. ICAR conducts the test in many centers in India. Aspirants can appear for the test in their nearby test center.

Structure and Pattern of the All India Agriculture Undergraduate Entrance exam

The pattern of the AIEEA test will be of objective type. Questions for the test will be on the technical subjects of the +2 examination. There will be multiple choice and cross matching type questions for the test. The Undergraduate AIEEA test shall last for a time duration of 2.30 hours. The mode of instruction will be Hindi as well as English.

Qualification Criteria for the All India Agriculture Undergraduate Entrance exam

Intermediates in Science streams are qualified to apply for the Undergraduate AIEEA test. However, they must have completed the course from a recognized institute. The percentage requisite is 50% aggregate marks for general, UPS and OBC aspirants. Those who come under SC/ST and PH category can avail 10% relaxation in marks. Aspirants who are aged between 17 – 23 years can only apply for the test.

Application Procedure for the All India Agriculture Undergraduate Entrance exam

Applicants either can procure forms from Cash counters of the Agricultural Universities or from specified Syndicate Bank branches on remittance of the form fee. They can also obtain the same from 5 ICAR institutes in person or by post. Appropriately filled in forms should be send to the official address of ICAR prior to the last date. Candidates have to append certificates copies also along with the forms.
