The dates have already been updated in the UPSC site. As per this you can purchase the form from 19th February. The same will be available in the post offices. Make sure that the application reaches the authorities by 21st March. Do not forget to keep a copy of the filled form for any issues later and check the form thoroughly for any wrong information entered by you. Any incorrect information means rejection of the application. You must start preparing for the exam right away the exam is scheduled to be held on 12th June which is a Sunday. You must keep yourself well informed about the general studies areas. Also prepare well in the optional subject. Solve as many papers as possible.

IPS and IAS exams are carried out by the UPSC. This is done through the Civil service exam and is held every year. The basic eligibility to appear in this exam is to have a bachelor’s degree. Applicants can be from any field of study. The age of the candidate must be in between 21 – 30 years for the general categories. The reservation category candidate will be provided with age relaxation. In 2011 the exam will be held on 12.06.2011.
