Re: Age limit for OBC to appear in IAS exam?

Upper age limit relaxation can be very often/ mostly seen to be provided by all the exams to minorities.

The relaxation in age differs from caste to caste, like it's different for OBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates.

In case of Indian Administrative Services Examination held by Union Public Services Commission, the age qualification for open category/ general category candidates is 21-30 years.
The upper age limit for OBC candidates become 33years as they are provided with 3 years relaxation.

Similarly, SC/ST candidates are offered 5 years upper age limit relaxation and thus the age limit for them becomes 21-35 years.
