Re: Is a 3rd year student of Engineering eligible for IES Entrance examination or not?

No it is not possible to attend the IES exam while being the 3rd year of engineering. The minimum eligibility criterion for attending the IES exam is graduation in engineering. You should be between 21- 30 years for attending this exam. There are relaxations in case of the reserved categories. Those who are in the final year of engineering are also eligible to attend the exam. But they need to submit the proof of passing the examination if they get selected in the written exam. Since you are only in the 3rd year of engineering you cannot attend the IES exam.
