For B.SC forestry course you need to pass 10+2 exam with minimum of 45% marks in PCM, also you need to give an entrance test conducted by the Commissionarate of Entrance Examinations.
& also the candidate have to study any one of these subjects like agriculture, math, biology & forestry.

If he passed with minimum 50 % marks in PHYSICS CHEMISTRY AND MATHS/BIOLOGY,AG.Sc in +2,then only he is eligible,the cut off of marks depend on universities,to get admission in B.Sc forestry he need to appear in entrance exams,on national level the exam conducted by INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH (ICAR) named AIEEA.On state level,various universities conducts the exam by JET or any other names.Job opportunities exist in Private and Public Sector Organizations, Forest based Industries, Research and Consultancy Industries, Development Organizations, NGO's, etc. One can also join Indian forest services for which an All India Entrance Examination is conducted by UPSC.The syllabus of entrance exams is almost same as any engineering/medical entrance exam except Agriculture.,so he can do crash course from any good institute,wish him good luck.

Dont be nervous but your brother is not eligible for forestry course.In forestry course candidate must have physics,maths or biology with chemistry with min.50% in 12th marks.He can go for other course.
